As promised, video from the second half of Alex Lambert’s NYC show!

Thanks to Lauren, Kristi, Katrina, Ariel, Benjamin and Cecily for uploading even more video! Check out their channels to see it all.

Alex took a short break then returned with renewed enthusiasm (and one of his trademark pairs of shades) to take audience requests. In order of performance:

> “On My Tongue”…

> Then by popular demand (and we mean DEMAND), “I Didn’t Know”…

> The beloved “Butterflies”…

There’s more!

> An oldie but oh so goodie – “I Been Workin'”!

> John Mayer’s “Your Body is a Wonderland”…

> “Use Somebody” by Kings of Leon…

> “Trouble”…

> “Stand By Me” to finish off the show… Alex always sounds sooo good singing this one!

> And finally, the much talked about post-show performance of “Let it Be”…

Pictures are coming! There are already HUNDREDS up on Facebook as most of you have probably discovered, but we’re waiting till they’re all in until choosing and posting

Also, check out these amazing photos by Nick Distaso and KJ Marks!

Finally (for today) here’s a video by Cecily with pics from the show!

  1. He really seemed to be enjoying himself in this second set. What a GREAT show. He has such an incredible personality to go along with that amazing voice. What the heck is 19 waiting for?? If they won’t get him out there, we’ll just have to do it ourselves….:) Love him!

I was thinking the same exact thing Cathy!
I saw rumors of a Boston sequel; have you guys thought about, instead of paying $$$$ to rent out a bar for a private party, trying to get a venue to PAY ALEX to play? (i.e. be Alex’s unofficial promoters) He is a serious talent, with Idol recognition, and a serrrioossly dedicated fan base, he should be booking gigs left and right!
And his mom works for an airline, right? So could he fly for free if bookers don’t compensate travel?

  3. If the record companies see these videos and don’t sign him, they are crazy!! Not only is his voice amazing, but his interaction with the fans is great. He already has a great following. Look at what you guys did just to get to see him. People traveled from everywhere. The record companies need to know this. I wish there was something we could do to get him signed. I would love to hear him on the radio!

  4. I’m looking at all the professional pictures (a million THANK YOUS to Kristi & Nick!!!!) of Alex and thinking to myself, what the eff are people waiting for to sign him?? So frustrating!! The kid is a star!!! He can’t take a bad picture, he’s gorgeous, talented, charming, unique voice, etc. I agree with you guys, labels & record companies would be crazy not to sign him ASAP.

And Kristi and Nick you guys are really amazing, BEAUTIFUL pictures! Check out http://www.nickdistasophotography.com! Btw, it’s awesome to see Alex’s name along with the other stars Nick has shot, like Drake, Usher, Trey Songz, One Republic, etc. AWESOME!!

  5. All of you did a BRILLIANT job documenting this superlative show. And I can’t believe Reagan didn’t come to the DH to visit. So many of Alex’s friends visited from Texas. We would have LOVED to see them jam out in the Blue Room
Also remember Alex Treharne is DONE with school now. How about reminding Alex to keep him in mind for his Full Band? WE  Alex T and he had GREAT chemistry with Alex

  6. Great great vids!! I felt like I was right there!!! Thanks to everyone working thier tail ends off to get footage for all of us that couldnt make it!! Incredible people right here!! Alex put on such a personal, interactive show with all the fans…Its not to often you come away from a show feeling like you were actually a part of it…God hes such a sweetheart! Reagan = sweetheart  what a cutie. Seems like a really nice guy!

  7. Hey guys, pics are almost completely up. I probably have about 10ish more to edit..
What do you guys think about a calendar? I’m still shopping price-wise, but it could be anywhere from 12-20 a calendar from what I see (which would include shipping to you).
    Any feedback on that?

  8. Im down!!! That would be great!

  9. Awww I love the I Didn’t Know video, he was so great with the crowd! @KJ a calendar sounds awesome, I’m in & the price is fine, anything for Alex! haha

Does anyone know if the Boston rumor is true? When and where is Alex playing in Boston? Does anyone know? Is anyone trying to get him a gig in Boston? Because I live in Boston and would love to help out with that, if I can. Just let me know.

Ohmira – I do know that someone is looking into doing something in Boston. It is in the very early stages. Hopefully everything will come together.

  12. Yes, snaf, someone is trying to work out a gig for Alex in Boston. I don’t want to be telling tales until we know something for sure, but just know that it is a possibility. When more information becomes available, of course it will be published.

And, for everyone who thinks Alex should be signed and have his album out already, I agree completely. In fact, the people at Smith’s in NYC were so impressed with Alex that they want him back and THEY want to host him. This wouldn’t be a fan-funded event. That speaks volumes on Alex’s talent and personality. And, btw, they liked his fans too! LOL! I just knew bringing Alex to NYC was going to open some doors for him. Let’s just hope he steps through them!

  13. Katherine:
Awww I love the I Didn’t Know video, he was so great with the crowd! @KJ a calendar sounds awesome, I’m in & the price is fine, anything for Alex! haha

Katherine (and KJ, and Nick) I just want everyone to be VERY clear with the purchase of calendars or pictures that these are not “for Alex” – as in no proceeds are going to him, and these sales are are being made independently by KJ and Nick without the involvement (or prior knowledge) of the NY show/organizers/fansite. Nick and KJ, please make sure people know this when selling anything, or you may get us (and/or yourselves) into very deep doodoo. Thank you.

  14. Since Alex seems to love his fans, I don’t understand why he doesn’t give them a better idea of how he’s progressing toward an album and touring, including posting here from time to time. I wonder if he’s been told not to say anything about that?

Katherine, and more importantly KJ and Nick, I want everyone to be VERY clear regarding the purchase of calendars or pictures that these are not “for Alex” – as in no proceeds are going to him, and these sales are being made independently by KJ and Nick without the involvement (or prior knowledge) of the NY show/organizers/fansite. (In fact, I would strongly suggest checking in with the Lamberts before proceeding, since their giving permission to people to take photos was done without their being informed that these photos would then be independently sold. I’m sorry, I’m really not trying to be a hardass, and we appreciate your taking such wonderful photos, but there are serious legal – or at the very least trust – issues at stake here.)

  16. most def!!

Hey, just one minor clarification. Nick DID have some contact with Alex ahead of time about shooting this show. I do not know whether the subject of charging was discussed. But Alex did give Nick the go ahead to take pictures. Also, I was aware ahead of time that Nick would be selling his pictures as part of the arrangement. It was mentioned in the final email I sent to all the ticket holders.

  18. I already planned on checking with him first, don’t worry! I know better than that :) If I ended up doing the calendars, they definitely wouldn’t be any for profit, unless Alex wants some from it, then I’ll talk to him about that. It got pushed back a bit just cause I had a surprise visit from my family from Montana this weekend!! YAY more excuses not to work!!
I don’t plan on a profit from any of my shots, just because they weren’t a paying job – they were for the fans. Even on my site, it would be cost of photo and shipping – I just didn’t want people taking pictures and using them for professional websites (One actually e-mailed me!)

Thank you for clearing that up, Kass. We do appreciate the awesome pictures taken by both Nick and Kristi. However, sales of any prints are in no way connected with Alex Lambert, this website, or the official Alex Lambert store and the proceeds of all sales will go solely to the photographers.

Really good reminder, Kassandra, and thanks for the clarification, Cathy. Alex offered me money for the photos I took, and I declined because I was doing this as a favor to him. Being of a fan of his since the beginning, it was a huge dream of mine to see him live and shoot his set, so trust me that money had nothing to do with me doing this. I’m going to talk to Alex soon, though, so I’ll be sure to talk about everything again with him. I’m glad you guys are liking the pictures so far. Kristi’s are awesome, too! I’m finishing up my review for Examiner.com this morning so that should be published soon and will definitley give Alex a lot of national exposure.

    • OK thank you for the reassurance guys :)
I never doubted your intentions were good (and sorry Nick/Cathy I was not aware that there was a previous arrangement), it was simply that people seemed confused by what the deal was… so I’m glad we’re all clear now!

(Really looking forward to your article, Nick!)

Rickey was so sweet to post that at my request! I was hoping for a bit more ‘traffic’ and comments, but at least they are all positive! Rickey says we SNAF are really nice! We are
