  1. YUP..His tweets are PROOF that @TrueAlexLambert has done gone off the “shallow end.”BUT CAN’T HELP LUVIN HIM!!

  2. His gingerbread house.. haha

  3. Cecily Gonzalez: His gingerbread house.. haha

Your Gingyhouse (as you called it) was funnier!!!

  4. I LOVED the lil’ plastic, or cookie?, Santa sitting in Alex’s gingerbread house sleigh!!!

  5. @LindaW hahahaha nah my gingyhouse was such a fail!

  6. OK never mind the gingerbread!! (j/k) Does anyone have ANY idea what that last picture is of?!?! I tried researching it – my best guess, it’s some mythical god/godess (Artemis?), a tarot card, or something to do with astrology – but so far I’ve come up with nothing! Sheesh, you’d think it’d be easier to identify something with that many breasts!!

  7. Kass……got something against Ginger bread :ermm: …Im just joking.. anyhow, right during the time he posted that I was watching on TV one of those series of “The Librarian” Movies with Noah Wyle (kinda like Indiana Jones) and my first thought was that he got it from that, but it looks like he got it out of a magazine or a poster hmmmm…now you have me intrigued!

  8. LindaW: Kass……got something against Ginger bread :ermm:

Only that I haven’t had any in years and I miss it!

Oh well, guess this is one mystery that’ll remain unsolved…. it does look like it’s out of a magazine or book…

  9. I know, I been banging my head against the wall all morning….aaaaand its tricky looking that description up (if you know what i mean  )

Anyway I was gonna ask, have you ever hear of J Solomon Songs?? I got this over on my Google and dont know how legit it is, i am always leary about posting stuff, but looks like it might be out of the Philippines?? IDK, this is what it said

    MAJOR HITTERS:
“We are pleased to announce will be working closely with Adam Lambert, Savannah Outen, Alex Lambert, Orianthi, Miranda Cosgrove, and Justin Bieber(yep, I know) and many others coming in weekly. We are excited to be a part of anything these great artists with mass appeal and huge fanbases are doing. They all are already working with some cool people and we are happy to be a part of this process. Look out for these artists in 2011! J. Solomon is coming through to ya with a firm step and a clean heart. Rock the walls down!!!”

    Hmmm……

    heres the website: http://www.thesunflowermotel.com

  11. HAhaha I know EXACTLY what you mean!!!

Welll… the second mystery may be solvable… J Solomon Songs seem to be a band (or singer/songwriter?) based in Los Angeles: http://www.thesunflowermotel.com/?page_id=80

Maybe he’ll be working as a producer on some tracks? Or co-writer? A bit confused if it’s as producer, cause he seems to do pop/country… not sure how well that would jive…

    Good find Linda!

  12. Hey guys!! Haven’t posted in a while; hope everyone had a great Christmas holiday!

Interesting about the J Solomon Songs bit. Seems like Alex is still writing/producing tracks for his record.

I was just downloading the Black Keys latest album from Amazon (it’s the deal of the day–only $3.99 for the mp3), and I realized that this bluesy-rock-raw sound would work perfectly with Alex’s voice. He really could sing the Zeppelin-style bluesy-rock that’s pretty popular right now. He is about 180 degrees removed from the auto-tuned pop sounds of today’s “singers”, isn’t he? I really hope they don’t force him into that sound–it just doesn’t fit. Now that I posted, I’m off to work. Bye y’all!

  13. On the J Solomon Songs writers/producers- these are all Top 40 radio genre artists…Orianthi is the only one that’s somewhat off the beaten path- into Rock radio station formats…, so it seems like a good fit…

  14. Kassandra: HAhaha I know EXACTLY what you mean!!!

Yes good find Linda. I have to agree with you Kass about the country/pop sound of Jeff Solomon. I see r&b/pop as the best fit for Alex. (Like I know anything, lol.) I’m sure they’re trying everything out because quite frankly Alex can sing any genre well.
Remember what Kara DioGuardi said to Alex, “that every producer/song writer would die to have that tone”. Again who wouldn’t want to work with him?
I do find there that some similarities with the working relationships out in LA.
Miranda Cosgrove worked with Rivers Cuomo just before Christmas. Not sure if Alex has yet?? If not, then maybe after the holidays.
Savannah Outen worked with Harvey Mason, Jr. a few months ago.

I do like that he is included in a group of talented up and coming artists, actually already well established.

HURRAY UP 2011!! I NEED MY ALEX LAMBERT ANNOUNCEMENT.

  15. @Lauren Hmmm. . . I’m wondering if that blurb which included Alex with all those ‘names’ has something to do with the large jump in numbers of views of IDK since yesterday? At least, it seems like a big jump to me. Bigger than other days.

@areyouin Hmmmm. That’s interesting. How high did the numbers increase? I haven’t been keeping up with them.

  17. Sounds like Alex is headed back to Cali according to one of his tweets. I wonder if it’ll be before New Year’s?
It’s back to “takin care of business”. I know 2011 is going to be a great year for Alex & the best part is that we get to watch it all unfold!!!!!

  18. Felicia: Sounds like Alex is headed back to Cali according to one of his tweets. I wonder if it’ll be before New Year’s?

Yes, Felicia, I am so looking forward to watching it all unfold. I’m glued to my computer. Hope something happens soon!! 2011 is definitely going to be the year of Alex Lambert. Woo Hoo!!

  19. Lauren:
@areyouin Hmmmm. That’s interesting. How high did the numbers increase? I haven’t been keeping up with them.

@Lauren and @Marianne – I also noticed that the numbers seemed to go up a lot in the last couple of days. The big YouTube one had about 109K a few days ago. Now its a little over 111K. So that’s about 2 thousand views in about 2 days. As you can see, math is definitely my speciality (NOT!). But it does seem like a big increase.

  20. Lauren:
@areyouin Hmmmm. That’s interesting. How high did the numbers increase? I haven’t been keeping up with them.

Well – I think yesterday I remember it being around 10,300-ish and then Kass reported this morning that it was at 11,1076. It just seemed like a big increase in less than 24 hrs.

  21. @areyouin, weren’t at least half of them from you?

    Cathy:

Thanks for the chuckle, Cathy! Did you need a calculator for that?

Seriously, though–missed the twitter party (damn work!), but I get the feeling he might have been at the airport waiting to board his flight back to LA. When he says “bouda head back to LA” I’m assuming he means like, *today*. Wonder what’s the hurry? I figured he’d stay in TX until the weekend.

  22. I’m with Diane- I think Alex is back in L.A. He received 2 tweets in the last day from those J Solomons Songs producers- one a comment on his On The Border Twitpic, and another regular tweet. I wouldn’t be surprised if Alex wasn’t their very first studio session, from their recent list of artists we saw. He was working ’til late on his Bday- wouldn’t be surprised to see him working Thurs., maybe part of Friday…or, at least, doing prep work for first of the week sessions…Hardest working man in show biz,or at least the recording industry  We’ll save the former title for Ryan Seacrest…

I soooo agree. Whoever decided that we want to hear auto-tuned pop instead of genuine, distinctive talent that sounds best when it’s “raw” and organic should be forced to sit in a room alone with headphones on for 48 hours straight and listen to that auto-tuned crap. I’m go glad Alex came along to get the music industry back on track. He’s got a style all his own and it appears that the real musicians he works with know that. I don’t think any of them would want to kill what’s beautiful about his voice and his songwriting by blanding it down to the level of what’s currently being played on the radio. I’m hoping Alex helps the industry take a giant step BACKWARDS! Real talent — ahhhhhhh, how refreshing!
