Guess what!? You can now download one of Alex Lambert’s demo music videos for FREE in iTunes!

It’s Dream With My Eyes Open and you search the store in iTunes for Alex Lambert then click on TV Shows and you’ll see it. Download it, watch it over and over again like you’re a kid in the 80s when MTV first came out. LOL (oops showing my age)

Thanks to Paul from 19E for emailing me to let me know and make sure the fans all knew, too. You guys rock!

  6. It’s the filmed one, the “what’s up homies” one!

  7. Yay! I downloaded it and now I’m gonna put it on my iPod! They were smart to put out the one with the talking and stuff as a freebie, I guess to get it out there until the real one comes out.

  8. Does anybody know the exact site for Itunes? Cause I tried like clicking on the Apple Itune site and the site won’t load. And I typed in Itunes (in yahoo) and pulled up http://www.itunes.com and couldn’t access that either. Somebody help please……

  9. Kat, do you have itunes downloaded on your computer? if you don’t go to apple.com, click itunes at the top of the screen, and download it.

  10. Shelby, thanks for the info but I just went to apple.com and the site won’t load so I don’t know maybe apple is just having problems with their site. Guess I’ll wait till a bit later tonight? Appreciate the help!

  11. Do you mean “he was afraid it wasn’t al about the music anymore”, with him or with IICD producers?? Thanks.l

  12. Tracy, I was watching when he said that. He was talking to Caitlan, the cook, and that was pretty much all he said about it, that it wasn’t all about the music anymore, not specifying whether it was with him of the producers.

  13. I think he probably meant with IICD, which I see his point and I don’t blame him for saying that. Like many of us have been saying all along, it seems like IICD didn’t mind throwing their aspiring artists under the bus for the sake of making drama/ “good tv”. I understand the need to make the show interesting and “real” but with the way the show is edited, it sometimes paints the dream mates in a negative light, like what was going on with Alex, which could hurt his image or career before he even really gets started. And so, it ends up not really being about the music or his career but instead more about the show and making “good tv”. And constantly getting such negative feedback from the idiots over at hulu probably made it worse. I don’t know if he was actually mad about it, but if I were him I’d be pretty pissed and a little concerned too about whether they really are looking out for me as an artist or more interested in making interesting tv. I understand why he needed to take a break. Sure gave them a wake-up call at IICD!! It seemed like they really went out of their way the last episode to show more positive things about Alex. I have a lot of respect for him for standing up for himself and making that decision. And if they know what’s good for them, they better keep up showing more positive things! Really, all I ever wanted for Alex is for him to be able to get signed and get a record deal because he’s crazy talented and deserves it. All this IICD, living in a house with 60 cameras live streaming is a bit much. I mean it’s cool to be able to see him grow as an artist and watch him make music, but it is a little invasive and it must be hard for him and all of them, everyone watching their every move and criticizing every little thing. It definitely has its pros and cons, b/c it would probably take him a lot longer to get a deal on his own without the shows hookups. I don’t doubt that he can do it on his own, but it would be more difficult. So anyway, sorry for the long post, hope it made sense, lol. That’s just my take on his comment about it not being about the music anymore. I think for him, it’s always about the music

  14. Thanks Janet! And I agree with you too, it is a treat for us, lol but not normal circumstances, hopefully he’s outta there with a deal sooner rather than later!

  15. Thanks Shelby and Katherine for clearing that up for me.

  16. Alex just held up your gift to the camera and said “I love it!” It was 7:46 Pacific, in case you missed and want to ask du for the clip!

  17. OK thanks Shelby….I actually had my brother help me with downloading the whole Itunes thing….hurrah…finally got Dream With My Eyes Open! Awesome!

  18. Katherine, that wasn’t a long post!! Sheesh! You’ve seen some of mine. And…you raise some very good points. I agree with you 100% on everything you said. I’ve said it too, living in that house cannot be any fun really, but it has helped them “get there faster.” And, of course, it’s a treat for us to be able to watch. But, in my heart, I really hope that Alex gets out of there sooner rather than later. I’ll be sad to see him go, but it’s just not a natural environment to be in. Sort of a pretty prison if you ask me.

  19. Amen Katherine.. very well said. I agree wholeheartedly with every point that you made. I just didn’t see it until now.

  20. I can’t download it I am from Singapore. Only American can watch this. Please somebody put it up here. So other overseas fans can watch it. Share please. We love ALEX
