Alex Lambert will be playing a show at ROOM5 in Los Angeles on August 17th, along with fellow Texan Michael Castro (the equally talented younger brother of American Idol Jason Castro… follow him on Twitter: @MCastroMusic).

Now listen all you West Coasters… we don’t want to start a competition or anything about which coast has the better SNAF (well… maybe we do :P)… but you know how great Alex’s New York show went, and how many East Coast SNAF showed up, and how far a lot of them traveled to get there… so REPRESENT! (Or the East Coasters are gonna call you out!) That is all.

Now for the deets:

The show is ALL AGES, and a meagre $10 gets you in! Michael hits the stage at 9:00 pm, with Alex following at 10 pm.

ROOM5 is located at 143 N. La Brea, 2nd floor (between Beverly and 1st Street, above Amalfi)
For more info, call 323-938-2504 or visit the Room 5 website, (MAP)

UPDATE: Joining Alex and Michael onstage will be Jesse Tyre Karp (8pm) and Conor Flynn (10pm – short set right ahead of Alex).

Oh, and to get yourselves in the mood, check out Matilda’s acoustic cover of Alex’s new song “Nothing” – which you might get to hear live if you go to the show!!

  3. I love your voice Alex, could you get together with Xenia on the voice and do a song togeather. That would be really cool.

  4. This is gonna be a great show. Alex said full band, right? Wish I could go, but there’s just no way to go in that timeframe. I’m with you Cathy — we’ll be there next time and every time we can be.

And, yeah, I’m calling out the West Coasters to represent and film every single moment as the East Coasters did. Show and share the love ;) And…don’t forget to sing along :)
