  1. sweeet

  2. Awww…what a cutie. I love the way he says A L E X L A M B E R T (with the emphasis on the “T”). Don’t worry folks, everyone will be knowing that name very soon.

  3. LOVE HIM!!!!!!

  4. I watched this video as if Alex is standing in front of me. He looks very confident in himself. Thank you for the video.

  5. Gawd….seriously, cuteness over load right there. Sorry Alex, cant help it….BUT also great answers to the questions…and thats the way to promote your vid!!

  6. So was that screen shot chosen coz he’s all puckered up???!!?!? Seriously TOOOO CUTE. Damn, he’s maturing well.

  7. Yes, of course, he’s cute; but, what struck me was how comfortable he was being interviewed and he actually knew enough to plug his video. Yay, Alex! You’re learning! Promote at every opportunity. No matter how many times you’ve heard yourself say something (and might be sick of saying it), there are thousands of people who haven’t heard it yet, so it’s new to them. Great job!

  8. @Janet – Did you hear the GREAT news. Josh Skinner just announced that he will be doing an interview with the one and only ALEX LAMBERT. We need to tweet him some questions. I know you’ve got lots of good ones… so start tweetin’

  9. I didn’t hear the news about Josh yet, Cathy, but we were pretty sure just a couple of weeks ago, right? I’ve got LOADS of questions. I better start tweeting! I’m just so sick of Twitter. Is that terrible? I must be tired. Yawn!

  10. :w00t: Is that one of the HANDSOMEST men EVER? He could be the next Harrison Ford, George Clooney, or JFK Jr…

  11. Janet – you don’t need to go to twitter at all. Just submit your questions here. Yay!

  12. Like I said somewhere else, I am so glad Josh Skinner is getting the interview….I LOVE the way he interviews people..he doesnt act like he is out for blood…just wants to know the facts and does it with class, I think Alex will feel comfortable with him. Its gonna be great I cant wait!

  13. Awesome interview. Alex rocks it! I like how he plugged his video as well. Very smooth.

  14. Yes, interesting that Josh will be interviewing Alex. Will he be able to reveal anything? Or will Alex have to provide more vague answers. I would like to think this is the start of some sort of media build-up, but not going to get my hopes up. I’ll have to ponder some questions for Josh.

Great choice for screen cap. Alex makes the best kissy-faces! :kissing:

  15. Alex seems tense in this video! :wassat: Or maybe it’s cos he’s not giggling as usual… Hmmm…

  16. Wish he was not pulling his ear all the time. A lot of stars come on camera and do this stuff also. Remember Mel back when Mel was hot pulling his ear over and over again. Some stars sit there and pick at their finger nails. If on a talk show the camera will scan away thank goodness. I do not want to see anyone tugging, pulling, or picking at anything on their body. I always think they should know better when the camera is on them. That is their spot light time in the big time.

Oh my goodness. Maybe Alex’s ear was itching so much that he couldn’t ignore it. It’s not that big of a deal. Remember this was a brief interview shot on someone’s cell phone. I thought Alex did very well. He didn’t hesitate in answering any questions, he seemed self assured, and he was as adorable as ever.
@Diane Kass did choose the best screen shot. His puckered lips alone can win him some new fans. I am anticipating his interview with Josh too, hoping that something will be revealed. I am so glad it’s with Josh. He has always been on Alex’s team and will be able to address any sensitive issues with empathy. Maybe the time has come to get things rolling. My fingers are crossed.

Geez, CarolAnn…I see someone picking and its kinda you lol jk…sorry, but watching Alex over the past year, he does have some trademark, nervous ticks…playing with his hat/hoodie, etc. I find it endearing and humble and not to shabby to watch at all. Hes adorable. Hes learning everyday. I thought he did great for a unplanned interview. Keep up the good work Alex!!

  19. @CarolAnn – Funny . . . I didn’t even notice! That’s how little impression it made on me. I think he did great!

  20. Reyne: Alex seems tense in this video! Or maybe it’s cos he’s not giggling as usual… Hmmm…

I noticed that also; he was not his usual “IICD”-self. Even his body language, eye contact, & facial expressions were not of his normal variety. It was all very strange.

  21. chipp: I noticed that also; he was not his usual “IICD”-self. Even his body language, eye contact, & facial expressions were not of his normal variety. It was all very strange.

Trying hard to put this nicely. . . um – for one thing, Chipp, Alex IS no longer his “IICD -self”. Secondly, I disagree with your opinion. It was loud in there, I feel the interview was impromptu, and I didn’t feel he was uncomfortable or “strange” at all. I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree!

I agree with you Marianne. I am a very critical person and if I thought there was something not quite right with Alex’s interview I’d be the first to admit it. Alex appeared to be perfectly normal in my opinion. Also it has been several months since we have seen Alex in an interview that happened on IICD which might I add was edited and possibly scripted. How realistic was IICD anyway?

  23. i too think there was something unusual about Alex in the interview. his facial expressions, body language…different from what we have seen earlier. i hope he is not drinking too many Red Bulls

  24. Daaang guys….Think about it, its probably the 1st actual “interview” he has done since “you know what” and maybe he was little nervous hoping no tough questions would be asked putting him on the spot….focus less on his facial expression, tear tugging and so forth and LISTEN to his answers, they are clear concise, to the point. He did great. And yes he was drinking red bulls…no biggie LOL. you guys!

  25. hhmm, I dont see the unusualness at all….. I thought he answered pretty clearly.

  26. Y:
hhmm, I dont see the unusualness at all….. I thought he answered pretty clearly.

    Yup!

    I’m with Cathy – – Double “Yup!”

I’m wondering if some fans are seeing the lack of (cute) bashfulness he used to show at times in some interviews? That’s a good sign, imo! He talks about being sure of himself and he is more sure of himself. I guess that might be the only difference I see. There are no little giggles here, just very assured replies to the interviewers questions! Good job Alex!!

  28. I watched the sdditional vid. from Lauren at the Gibson event.,That kid paying piano is def. a regular on a Disney Ch. show…I’ve seen him a few times…LOL at Alex saying he didn’t know the words to Journey’s signature track…I heard him play that song on his laptop once in the DH…he was trying to save his voice no doubt, for a couple songs he sang that night plus his recording schedule… Anyway, just trying to liven up the site here…

  29. @alleycatfan Thanks for trying to liven it up. Glad you came to this page because “Ed” deleted his initial link to Alex’s interview and has replaced it with this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nji3Kmb5N54
Admins could make the change please?
I still don’t think Alex knew Don’t Stop Believing well enough to sing along. We know how he can’t resist singing if he knows the lyrics.

I wanted to make note of one of Alex’s tweets last night.

“Snapple is a beast!!! I’m ready to tour! I cannot wait!”

Alex has been very careful with his tweets in recent weeks. He is not participating in twitter parties anymore. Maybe he is playing it safe. It’s probably best that he is not revealing anything, but I’m just HOPING that this one meant that Snapple will be a sponsor for his future tour.

    • Oh Ed, I guess when your originally uploaded Alex Lambert video started getting more hits faster than any other of your videos, you realized that perhaps you should have bothered to edit it? And perhaps that you should have CHANGED THE DARN TAPE!?! LOL those that saw the original will know what I’m talking about.

Anyway, I’ve updated the video to the new one this Ed guy uploaded – unfortunately we lose a bit of Alex funness at the beginning in this version. You may have to clear your caches to see it right away.

And sorry I wanted to post a bunch of stuff this past week but was struck by a particularly nasty virus… will get some stuff up this week, if a bit outdated.

Lastly, the latest gossip floating around Twitter (has someone commented on this yet?): Alex tweeted “Snapple is a beast!!! I’m ready to tour! I cannot wait!”… so either Alex really likes Snapple, or they’ve agreed to sponsor some upcoming shows?!? Hmmm stay tuned :)

  30. @Kass & @Lauren – haha. great minds think alike. Who knows what the Snapple comment means but its always fun to imagine great things. I will just point out that Alex put 3 exclamation points in his tweet, so he must really like Snapple.

Darn, Ed….that original video had something like 400 views and great comments. Gone…all gone.

  31. Wow saw the snapple reference too…can only hope that means something, but who knows with our boy!! and yeah I am with Kass, why edit the vid when its really just the same thing…with less Alex!!! He probably got some flack for NOT changing the tape :getlost: Lol, oh well.

  32. Random. But I’m struck by how clear Alex’s complexion is! Lol.
