She is pretty, and she is little, but we’re certain that Lucy Hale, star of ABC Family’s trendy TV show “Pretty Little Liars“, was NOT lying when she tweeted:

“seriously one of the best voices ive ever heard….” followed by a link to Alex Lambert’s “I Didn’t Know” music video.

Indeed, Alex may have found a new friend in Lucy, as evidenced by the photo above, from last Sunday night. It shows Alex and Lucy (and yes, she’s wearing Alex’s cap!) hanging out with Alex’s drummer Patrick Jarret, friend Jordan, and singer/dancer TJ Espinoza. (We’re also kinda wondering what’s up with Alex’s new $14 haircut? Is that an 80’s punk look he’s rocking? Those that still miss the mullet, say “aye” in the comments! J/K – he’s a cutie no matter what the cut!)

Lucy’s tweet sent thousands of “Halers” (as her fans call themselves) to watch the video, and the positive response – on YouTube and Twitter – has been overwhelming… so thank you Lucy for introducing your fans to Alex’s music! You’ve got great taste ;) .

In other news, yesterday Alex was once again working with the illustrious Angel “Onhel” Aponte, on a “crazy” new track. Onhel is a two-time Grammy nominated writer/producer who has worked with the likes of Lil Wayne and Beyoncé… which makes it all the more exciting that post-session he called Alex “insanely talented and creative”!

Lastly, attention all Seattle SNAF!! Andrew Garcia has tweeted that he will be bringing Alex as his guest to this Saturday’s Reign Anniversary Concert Experience in Seattle! We’re not sure whether Alex will be performing (maybe he’ll get up on stage with Andrew?) but the show is for a very good cause and consists of a huge line-up of up-and-coming artists, and moreover it’s a great opportunity for anyone in the Seattle area to potentially meet Alex and experience his sweetness first hand!

Reign is this Saturday, September 24, and runs from 7:00 – 11:00 p.m. Click here for more info about this not-for-profit musical event, and here to purchase tickets ($25 for General Admission or $50 for a VIP Meet and Greet). And if Alex does perform and you’re there, don’t forget to film and upload video!!

  8. this is BANANAS, i was going nuts yesterday with all the new buzz! (Closet PLL viewer, will never admit to this again, I’ll lie if asked!) Not exactly the ideal way i wanted to the rest of the world to discover him haha… but hey, WHATEVER works!

    Do you think Ben introduced them? [PLL and The Lying Game are sister shows (same creators, same writers, same network, same fans, etc etc)]

    ahh I cannot get over how well this has played out. My drunken makeout seshes are followed by embarrassment, his end up being brilliant career moves! Definitely not fair hahaha

  9. Even Andrew Garcia seems to be riding the wave, is this the first time he gave “I Didn’t Know” a twitter shout out?

    Well it’s been an interesting couple of days for sure. Nice to see that Alex has gotten some exposure from his association with Lucy Hale. Thousands more people have listened to his “I Didn’t Know” video and realize what we’ve known all along (just like Lucy) that Alex has one of the best voices ever. Thank you Lucy for tweeting the link to your 500,000 plus followers and spreading the Alex Lambert love.

    To be honest I was not familiar with her before Monday morning, so I looked her up on twitter and watched a recent Twitvid that she and Ian Harding created on his birthday. I was kind of taken aback because I could swear that Alex and his hat were in the background. I can hear his voice too. This was taken on the set of Pretty Little Liars on Friday. Here it is. Could be him or not?? http://t.co/2GYGl7Bx

    I can assure you that Ben did not introduce Alex and Lucy. I would say it is likely Patrick and Alex’s association of TJ Espinoza, but who knows? TJ appears to be well acquainted with Lucy and her friends and according to twitter there was a large group that went out Sunday night.

    I thought the same thing when I saw that Andrew had tweeted the “I Didn’t Know” video link, but in fact it was the second of two tweets. I’ll copy them below.

    @andrewagarcia
    So you guys wanna know who will be my guest for Seattle REIGN this Saturday?!?!
    20 Sep
    @andrewagarcia
    I’m bringing out the one and only @TrueAlexLambert!!!! http://t.co/PymLzF9w
    So it seems that Alex will be in Seattle on Sat., but he hasn’t tweeted anything about it yet.

    Andrew is a tweeting fool. :tongue: Here are a couple more:

    Andrew, Jordan, Patrick, and Alex went to dinner Friday night.

    @andrewagarcia
    Quadruple OG’s http://t.co/TCOCtKVg
    Sept17

    Then early Saturday morning he tweeted this:
    @andrewagarcia
    I LOVE Lucy.
    Sep 18

    I ask you Andrew… did you all see Lucy on Friday night/Saturday morning? He just doesn’t strike me as the type to tweet about Lucille Ball. :lol:

    But Lola I do see how you can say that Andrew is riding the wave. He’s only tweeted Lucy at least 4 times since this weekend. :w00t:

    In any case I’m so glad they are having the time of their lives. Viva LA baby!!!

  13. BTW, Alex did not accrue any of the 10K new views (so far) from Andrew’s tweet of IDK vid., as it was for a different (non – official) channel of IDK vid. w/ relatively few views :whistle:

  14. Lauren: To be honest I was not familiar with her before Monday morning, so I looked her up on twitter and watched a recent Twitvid that she and Ian Harding created on his birthday. I agree, Lauren. I do think that’s him in the video. So they were all chillin on Friday/Saturday and on Sunday. So I don’t think the kiss was just a drunken make-out session. Either way, he’s meeting great people and having fun in LA. He’s really doing very well.

    and….

    I know, dang….. If only Andrew had tweeted the official video. I guess its no big deal, he still tweeted it and lots more people saw it. That’s what counts, right……..

    Hey, Katrina….do you know how many views you’ve gotten on your video since Andrew tweeted it? I’d love to know. (It was your video, right?)

  15. Lucy looks GR8 in that pic, AND Alex’s face is AHHH mazing ..it would be hard for a girl (perhaps one close at hand) :whistle: to resist that incredibly hot, cute face :biggrin:

  16. Hi guys, I’m still enjoying following Alex’s journey through your posts here. You all do such a great job that I don’t think I can improve on it.

    Last night on the new X-Factor, I found a singer whose vocals remind me of Alex’s. Did any of you notice Chris Rene and think the same, or am I way off?

    I can see it, Ray. But you know what I’m gonna say, right? He’s just no ALEX LAMBERT! Sorry, :blush: We love your comments. Thanks for contributing and thanks for supporting Alex.

    Yes thanks for posting Ray. I thought that Chris sounded a lot like Mike Posner. I have a trained ear when it comes to Alex. I really hate to admit it. :lol:

    I liked Chris’s audition and was impressed with his original song. Come to find out it was on his album that he released prior to the show. For whatever reason I always believe that the contestants on these reality singing shows come with little prior experience except for their God given talent. I find more often than not that I am wrong. http://t.co/ZOnwaZ8g
    Besides his incredible voice that’s what I’ve always found appealing about Alex.

    Amen sister!

  20. AYE-men!

  21. Great to read this. I was just thinking right before I read this that Alex needs some higher profile fans. As much as I adore him, I don’t have any connections. Alex has the talent and the voice, he needs for more people to know about him. Yeah for Lucy! Glad to add Lucy to the snaf.

    P.S. They look cute together. :smile:

  22. Kass – Just wanted to say I LOVE the changes you’ve made to the fansite design. It looks very, very nice and I love how you can scroll down to see the older posts. Once again, you’ve done a fabulous job. :biggrin:

  23. ~~Mee too Kass! Great Job! :heart:

  24. AWESOME Job!!! I really LOVE the collaborator catalogue updates (when U click sidebar at right) Love the lists of recording artists that each of Alex’s co -writers have worked with – SOOO impressive :cool:

  25. @Kass Yessss.. I really like the new spot, coz I think a lot more people will click on the icon at right to see what its about. There are some SUPER impressive new collabs like Onhel, that when people see his list of credits, they will look like this>>> :w00t:

  26. Great update on the site Kass. So, this is what’s been keeping you so busy lately :ninja:
    I really like it and, yes, it does appear to be running smoother.

    It appears everything is alright in Lambertland. But, I’d really like to hear something new, even a cover, anything! Will you hate me if I say I really don’t care who Alex may or may not be dating/kissing/hanging with? Kudos to Lucy for shining a spotlight on Alex. I’m grateful — it’s funny though ‘cuz I don’t know who she is — I mean now I do, but I didn’t before. I guess she must be famous enough, huh?

    The X Factor is like Super Idol — so much like AI, but the prize is so much greater. I agree with Lauren. Some of these contestants are already working performers. I guess that’s okay, but I really love to see and hear raw, new talent. That was definitely a huge part of Alex’s appeal and look how far he’s come! It might seem like baby steps, but he’s young and he’s working it. He’s already successful (by my measure of success anyway).

  27. Janet, I agree with you about the thrill of raw talent, but the flipside is that it sometimes takes a long time for it to be ready for the world. It’s great that Alex has a strong group of supporters willing to wait until he’s fully ripe. :biggrin:

    • I certainly get your flipside, Ray….it does take a long time. But in this case, I’d say its worth waiting for. It’s hard. Sometimes we go weeks without any news at all. But that’s how real life works. Shows like American Idol lead us to believe that great musicians can be churned out in a few weeks. The fact that very few American Idols have actually gone on to be Idols shows us that it is just not reality.

      Raw talent like Alex’s is not going to ripen over night. If the shows need to produce overnight successes, the alternative is to find talent that’s a little farther along in the ripening process, But idk… for me that seems kinda like cheating. Like they’re jumping into the front of the line somehow. This is all just my opinion for sure. I guess the producers just need to figure out what’s gonna sell more coke (or pepsi), the thrill of finding an undiscovered gem or the thrill of producing an overnight sensation….

      My money is still on Alex. I think he’ll be here making great music when American Idol and the Xfactor are long gone. There is always room for great musicians. I hope American Idol and Xfactor can find us a few more.

    • Maybe it’s better when too much fame and success doesn’t come too easily or too young. We’ve all seen the casualties of that. We can wait. I’m not going anywhere. Alex is really hitting his stride vocally and seems so much more comfortable performing now. I agree with Cathy’s post — my money is still on Alex. His star will shine long after these stupid TV shows are gone.

      Hey, admins, we need a post about the Boston show, don’t we? I’M NOT NAGGING — yes, I am, but forgive me, okay? Love y’alls!

  28. oopsy — just noticed the banner about the Boston Show. Please disregard my previous request. But, maybe that means people don’t really look at the banner and we need a real post anyway??? Or, does it mean that I’m the only one who didn’t notice it until after I mentioned it — ya know, shooting off my mouth before I engage my brain. I swear someday I’ll learn to look before I leap. But, if I haven’t learned it by now, probably never will.

    • We’re working on it Janet. Or should I say Kass is working on it. Her banner is pretty “dope” isn’t it. Yay! We’ll have something up soon.
