  1. i  it all :cheerful:

  2. Just the two of us….hehe love it!

Imagine, just a short time ago, it was Alex & Andrew on that AI stage. One stayed and one went home and now here they are together making music. Life really is a circle and we really are all connected.

I love Alex doing the music he loves best…THAT VOICE, THAT VOICE — he really is the best blue-eyed soul singer ever.

  3. Janet: I love Alex doing the music he loves best…THAT VOICE, THAT VOICE — he really is the best blue-eyed soul singer ever.

    Yes he is….

  4. Totally dug it. It’s just cool to see the vibe a flowin’.

  5. So, Alex is back in Texas. Remember when he said he’d like to do a show in Texas at the end of the summer? I guess he didn’t get that together, but if he ends up doing an impromptu performance, I sure hope someone captures it for us.

Different Topic: I knew for a long time that music had the ability to affect our brain activity — I guess we all know that. Well, today I transcribed a scientific study that proves it. It was so interesting. Certain music moves our brain waves to alpha and even theta (the deepest level of consciousness) levels. They’re using it in psychotherapy and other areas of medicine (pain management for one). So, I guess what I’m saying is: There’s a reason for our addiction to Alex Lambert music and it’s a scientific fact. Alex Lambert has a tone that directly affects our brainwaves! The subtitle to the article is: The Boy Who Sang to the World. Although Alex can hardly be called a boy anymore, I will forever thank him for being The Boy Who Sang to the World.

And, I’m freaking pissed off that these emoticons never work for me anymore. No one else seems to be having that problem. Just imagine lottsa hearts and smiles :))))

Haha, Janet…. I knew there was something scientific about this addiction. Thanks for that. Since I saw you over on Twitter, I guess you figured out that Alex flew into Dallas just so he could drive back to LA with his mom… What a great son.   (note the excessive use of emoticons. lol. I wonder why they don’t work for you. )

  7. No, Cathy, I didn’t figure out what Alex was doing. His tweets were making me even more confused. Trenton posted that Alex was going to be in Texas, so I figured he was staying awhile. Gwen has raised some awesome sons. She must be so thankful and proud. Alex flying out there just so he could drive back with her is what any good son should do, but a lot probably wouldn’t even think of doing it. I’m sure she sacrificed a lot raising them. I’m glad they’re able to see that and love her for it. Family is everything.

Great emoticon action. hehe But, still, I wonder what’s up with my computer. Wait a minute. I’m on a different one now. Let’s see if they work.    Aha! It’s my desktop. Me thinks it’s time for a new one. That’s where I work and I noticed it’s been sluggish lately. Tried all the fixes and it didn’t help much.

Okay plan for today — get my hair colored and buy a new computer. Ed is going to shoot me dead. :cwy:

  8. LMAO Janet, you are too funny!! And I love your scientific facts about our Alex addiction. It explains a lot!! Haha

  9. I love Alex Lambert!

Well that explains alot for me also…That voice…Gahh! It kills me. Even his talking voice is soothing. Its like a drug, I want it and cant have it…yet?? BUT I have been totally in support in waiting….patience…this process takes time, I see that more and more everyday. Hes doing the right thing in my opinion.. taking his time and not jumping into anything. I love the way he is just “him” and doesn’t try to be anything else..I respect him for that. Its probably caused him some hardship along this journey, but hes staying true to himself…mad props for that

I sooo agree with you. It’s a process. It takes time — more time than we hoped, but that’s all okay. He’s learning and growing, both in music and life, everyday. But, as you said, one thing stays true — Alex stays true to Alex. Amen to that! He has never shown anything but his true, genuine self — a hard thing to accomplish especially in his business.

Good to see you in Oakland. Not fan of AI, but when I heard your song thru That reality house show I could see a side that resonated with me. Your session in Oakland really made me happy. I know you are not the typical pop artist from Texas. Stay true. Stay real. It will be worth it.

Your work inspires me. Keep it up!

This is my one true wish for Alex’s journey — that he stays true to himself and finds lots of love, luck, and happiness along the way. He inspires so many. He deserves all good things.
